Bertolini Valves, Inc. has built water truck spray valves in the United States since 1971. This is a product and reference site. It sells nothing, carries no advertising, and does not track you across other websites.
What this site collects
When you send an enquiry. The form asks for your name, email address, phone number, the part number you are asking about, and your message. We use it to answer you. That is all.
Automatically. Like any website, our servers and security tools record the IP address a request came from, the browser used, and the pages requested. This is used to block attacks and to diagnose faults, not to build a profile of you.
Where that information goes
- Stored in this website’s database, on servers operated by Hostinger.
- Sent to the parts team at Randco Tanks, which stocks and ships genuine Bertolini parts, by email through Google Workspace.
- Copied to offsite backup storage at Backblaze B2, so the site can be restored if it fails.
- Traffic passes through Cloudflare, which filters malicious requests before they reach the site.
We do not sell your information, and we do not pass it to advertisers or data brokers.
Analytics
We measure how this site is used with Matomo, which we run on our own server rather than using a third-party analytics service. Your browsing of this site is not shared with Google, with advertisers, or with anyone else.
Matomo here is configured without cookies. It records which pages are viewed, roughly where in the world the visit came from, and what was searched for on the site. Because no cookie is set, we cannot tell whether you have visited before, and we cannot follow you to any other website.
We use this to see which guides and parts pages people actually read, so we know what to improve. Nothing more.
Cookies
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies, and our analytics sets none either. Cloudflare may set a cookie that distinguishes real visitors from automated traffic, and the caching layer may set one so pages load faster. Neither follows you off this site.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as we need them to answer you and to keep a record of what was quoted or supplied. Security and server logs are kept briefly and then discarded. You can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time.
Your choices
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Call the number below or use the enquiry form and tell us what you would like done. We will not charge you for it and we will not treat you differently for asking.
Children
This site is aimed at commercial and municipal fleet operators. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
