The B/Mc Valve — Made in the USA since 1971
This water truck spray valve was designed by Herman Bertolini and has been manufactured in the USA continuously since 1971.
Model 71 B/Mc water truck spray valves are a simple, durable design, proven in use since 1971 —
and honored by imitations.
Normally closed, this valve will not leak with loss of control pressure. An adjustable opening allows control of spray pattern and volume. A grooved inlet provides flexibility in mounting and positioning to achieve desired spray coverage.
Air actuated for most applications, with 12VDC or 24VDC control available for vehicles that do not have an air system.
B/Mc is pronounced “bee mack”.

Why the design lasted
- Normally Closed — lose control pressure and the valve shuts rather than dumping your load.
- Adjustable Opening — one valve covers a range of spray patterns and volumes.
- Grooved Inlet — mounts and clocks in whatever orientation the truck needs.
- Four Wear Parts — a rebuild is a shop-floor job, not a replacement.
